Inspection Trips

We are very pleased to arrange 3 - 4 day property inspection trips to the Costa del Sol for our clients wishing to buy property in southern Spain.

Aeroplane.jpg_1.jpgIf you are seriously interested in buying a property, and in a position to purchase, this is one of the most effective ways to ensure that you find the perfect Costa del Sol property, in the right area, and at the right price.

The following guide gives you a detailed description of what to expect during such a trip, and answers common questions we are asked. Should you be in any doubt as to whether an inspection trip is for you, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your own personal circumstances.

What is an inspection trip?

Quite simply, it is the most effective and informative way of viewing property in Spain. You will have the opportunity to view a very wide selection of Freehold Properties including apartments, bungalows, town houses and villas.

Flights can be arranged from most local airports to the Costa del Sol and Costa Blanca regions. Your designated sales representative will be waiting to greet you personally at the airport, and will ensure that you receive the highest level of service throughout your stay. Your accommodation will be within one of our selected hotels, and you will have access to our full range of services, including independent legal and financial advice, during your stay.

Dress is casual, and we recommend that you bring comfortable shoes, as you will be viewing a large number of properties.
Subsidised inspection trips can be easily arranged from any country and we will be pleased to discuss the best options for you.

Will there be enough time to make up our minds?

CERTAINLY! - probably more than you will need. As you will know from house hunting in your home country, it can take 2 minutes to decide whether you like a property or not! A lot will depend on whether or not you like the area. We will make sure that you see the different areas and give you all the information you need to help you make your decision. Our offices in Spain are at your disposal - remember our staff is there to help YOU!

Are the properties for permanent or holiday purposes?

BOTH! However, more and more people are purchasing for permanent residence, if not for now, then for the future (while they can still afford it!) We will be pleased to show and advise you on the different properties and areas most suitable for your needs. Our top priority is to help you make a decision with which you will be happy for years to come and one that you can comfortably afford.

Can clients take an inspection visit when they are not ready to buy?

Despite the fact that there is no obligation to buy, you can imagine we occasionally get people who try to use our subsidized trips for a cheap holiday with no intention to purchase at all. Our Inspection Trips are designed to cater for the serious property buyers only, with the emphasis on viewing the areas and properties intensively and discussing the legal and administrative side of the purchase. If you are not genuinely interested in buying a property the trip will be arduous, boring, and a waste of your time and ours. If you wish to explore the area at your leisure we strongly advise that you take a holiday there first. We will be happy to advise on suitable holiday arrangements.

What will we see?

During your 3 - 4 days in our company you will be shown not only the very best selection of properties but also a full range of facilities that you will be able to enjoy from your new home. These include the best beaches, marinas, golf clubs, shops, supermarkets restaurants and much, much more.

When we see the property we want, what do we do?

When you find the property you desire, a deposit of around 3000 € will secure the property at the price on that day. We recommend that this be paid into the client account of your lawyer, who will perform the necessary checks prior to paying the money directly to the property owner or developer. Once your lawyer is completely satisfied with the conditions of the sale, the purchase contract will be drawn up. Depending on which type of property you purchase - either off-plan or resale, you will then be given the payment schedule.

What if we don't like any properties or the area?

Do not worry, we guarantee that you will have no pressure to buy at any time. Several of our non-buyers have subsequently recommended friends who have bought because of our professional approach and the total lack of pressure. We let the area and the properties speak for themselves - then the choice is yours and only yours.
